Sustainable Energy Development Authority (SEDA) Malaysia is a statutory body formed under the Sustainable Energy Development Authority Act 2011. The key role of SEDA Malaysia is to administer and manage the implementation of the feed-in tariff mechanism which is mandated under the Renewable Energy Act 2011.

Program Manager for Component 3 – Low Carbon Technology Investments in Cities, Green Technology Applications for Low Carbon Cities (GTALCC) Project, Energy Demand Management Unit
(Responsible to the National Project Manager and Head of EDM Unit, SEDA Malaysia).

Graduate in engineering, environment, science or economics (preference will be given to candidates with relevant postgraduate degrees);

At least 4 years relevant experience in Policy Studies and capacity building on Low Carbon Cities particularly technology and investment;

Practical experience (1 – 2 years) working in environmental or investment office;
-
Strong command over English and Bahasa Malaysia;
-
Experience in project management and the energy and green technology sector are preferred;
-
Basic understanding on climate change, carbon emission and calculation are preferred;
-
Able to perform a variety task including the creation and development of print and online promotional material, website management and content development, press releases, bylined articles and white papers;

Independent, pro-active and result oriented;
-
Able to work sometime beyond office hours; and
-
Possess driving license and own transport.
