YB Wong Kah Woh was appointed as the Chairman of SEDA on 1st July 2019. YB Wong obtained a First-Class Law Degree majoring in Civil and Islamic Laws from International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). Presently, he is a Practicing Lawyer having an extensive 14 years of experience specialising in corporate and conveyancing practice. His current areas of practice include Corporate, Banking & Finance, Real Estate and Commercial Transactions ranging from the acquisition of companies, establishment of joint venture companies, loans and project financing as well as estate planning and administration.

He is also a founder and managing partner of a law firm named Messr HL Lee & Co since the year of 2008 till present. Besides that, YB Wong has a great interest serving the community as he’s a Legal Advisor to Community-based Associations whereby he provides pro bono legal advice and services to various community-based associations in Perak.

Presently, YB Wong is the Member of Parliament for Ipoh Timor which has availed him the opportunities to provide his views, proposals and suggestions to the policy through his debates and speeches. Asides, he is currently the Vice Chairman Public Accounts Committee (PAC) in the Parliament of Malaysia having the responsibility of examining, studying and scrutinising the Government’s finances and the appropriation of the sums granted by Parliament to meet public expenditure.

Prior to that, YB Wong was also the State Assemblyperson for Canning (Perak), whereby he served the community within the Constituency and assisted in serving the neighbouring constituencies, from repairing of houses for the poor families to consistently providing aids to the Orang Asli’s settlement in Tasik Temenggor in Perak. YB Wong was also the Chairman of Perak State Assembly Public Accounts Committee (PAC) from the year 2008 until 2009. In 2015, he was being nominated as the 30th Finalist for Ten Outstanding Young Malaysians (TOYM) , a project by the Junior Chamber International Malaysia (JCI Malaysia).

YBrs. Mr. Abdul Razib Dawood was appointed as a Member of SEDA on 15th May 2019. He is an engineer with twenty years experience in the electricity supply industry, having worked both with Malaysia and Australia national power utility, independent power producer (IPP), transmission network service provider (TNSP) and renewable energy consultant. He held numerous roles such as construction engineer, system planning engineer, project manager, technical advisor and power system study specialist.

Prior to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) position, he was with Energy Commission (EC) of Malaysia as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Head of Electricity Market Operation. Then he moved to the Malaysia Nuclear Power Corporation (MNPC) as Chief Executive Officer.  In April 2018 he was appointed COO of EC to manage overall daily operations of EC and effective on 1st August 2019, En Razib was appointed as Chief Executive Officer of Energy Commission.

Datuk Ir. Dr. Siti Hamisah Bt Tapsir is the Secretary General for the Ministry of Energy, Science, Technology, Environment and Climate Change (MESTECC) Malaysia. Prior to this appointment, Ir. Dr. Siti Hamisah was the Director General of Higher Education Department in 2017-2019. She was deeply involved in the development of the Malaysia Education Blueprint 2015-2025 (Higher Education) and tasked to implement the initiatives outlined in the Blueprint for the public and private higher education institutions.

As the secretary general, Datuk Ir. Dr. Siti Hamisah is responsible in leading reformation in energy sector with the Malaysian Energy Supply Industry (MESI) 2.0 and transitioning Malaysia to achieve 20% of renewable energy by 2025. For science, technology and innovation, she is keen to direct and spur STI ecosystem with sustained focus on STEM enculturation and the continuation of nation-wide outreach/mobile programmes as well as embarking on an effort to streamline funding programmes and agencies for better technology transfer and R&D commercialisation. With the urgent call for action in dealing with climate change and environmental sustainability, Datuk Ir. Dr. Siti Hamisah plays a big role in enhancing environmental monitoring with the reformation of Department of Environment as well as development of green technology and leading the cross-sectoral/cross-ministerial effort in ensuring Malaysia’s commitment to the Paris Agreement.

On professional level, she holds a Ph.D in Civil Engineering from University of Leeds, United Kingdom and a registered Technologist with Malaysia Board of Technologists and a registered engineer under the Board of Engineers Malaysia. Datuk Ir. Dr. Siti Hamisah received an Honorary Doctorate (Doctor of Science) from the University of Southampton in 2016 for her outstanding contributions in the engineering field. She has received numerous education accolades including the Asia HRD Awards 2017 for her contributions to the Malaysian Society by advancing higher education and the Honorary Fellow of ASEAN Federation of Engineering Organisations (AFEO) in 2017 for her expertise and experience in advancing the growth of engineering in the ASEAN region.

YBhg. Datin Nik Roslini Raja Ismail was appointed as an Authority Member of SEDA Malaysia on 15th May 2019.

She attended the University of Exeter, United Kingdom where she received a Bachelor Degree in Accounting (Honours). She entered into the Administrative and Diplomatic Service, and then pursued her Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the International Islamic University of Malaysia.

Presently, she is the Deputy Under Secretary of the Government Policy & Accreditation Sector of the Government Procurement Division under the Ministry of Finance since the year of 2016. She has in depth knowledge and proficiency in government financial management, accumulated through her experiences serving the Ministry of Finance since 1996.

YBhg. Datin Nik Roslini is currently a board member of numerous organisations, namely, Johor Port Berhad, Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB), Indah Water Konsortium Sdn. Bhd., Perbadanan Nasional Berhad, Boustead Naval Shipyard Sdn. Bhd., Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM), and Padiberas Nasional Berhad (BERNAS).

YBrs. Mr.  Toisin Gantor was appointed as an Authority Member of SEDA Malaysia on 15th May 2019. He graduated from the National University of Malaysia with a Bachelor Degree of Political Science in 1989. He entered into the Administrative and Diplomatic Service in 1992, and then received a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the National University of Malaysia in 2001.

His is currently the Deputy Secretary – General (Strategic Planning & Management) under the Ministry of Primary Industries. He has served various ministries and agencies, which include the Ministry of Health, the Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency, the Public Service Department, and the Ministry of Finance

Mr. Toisin Gantor attended various professional training programmes, notably, RSOG Senior Leadership Programme, Kursus Kepimpinan dan Pengurusan Utama (INTAN), and the Premier Executive Advanced Development Programme “The Peak” in Australia.

He is currently a board member of few organisations, namely, the Malaysian Agricultural Research and Development Institute (MARDI) and the Federal Agricultural Marketing Authority (FAMA).

YBhg. Datuk Darrel Webber was appointed as a Member of SEDA on 15th February 2020. He started his career in sustainable development since 2005 involving the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) Malaysia, WWF-International and Global Sustainability Associates. Previously, he has been working in public listed companies and MNC’s in the logging, oil & gas, and consumer goods manufacturing sectors. He is currently the Managing Director of Global Forest Strategies with Earth Innovation Institute (EII), an organisation based in San Francisco, USA.

He was the CEO of the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO), an international multi-stakeholder initiative which has members from 92 countries and he spent nine-year tenure. During that time, he grew the organisation tenfold in terms of membership and revenues.  Among his notable achievements at RSPO has given positive impacts on the environment and also on the economic well-being of the communities.

YBhg. Datuk Darrel has been on numerous platforms (mostly international) and on multiple media channels to speak and provide insights on matters related to sustainable agriculture and sustainable development in general.

He currently serves on the board of 2 non-profits and advises international sustainability certification schemes on a voluntary basis.
