Recognized Local Manufacturer/Assembler : Inverters for Solar PV Systems
 

The following list contains companies that have been recognized as a local manufacturer/assembler of inverter for solar pv systems. Installations equipped with inverters manufactured/assembled from these companies will be eligible for the bonus. Do take note of the approved inverter “model number” for each respective company, since only these model numbers will be eligible for the bonus.

    • Leonics, established in 1991, has more than 20 years experience in design and manufacture of Electronic Power Conditioning Equipment for UPS and Solar Energy which comprises of Solar Charge Controllers, Bi- Directional  and High Power Grid Connect Inverters.  Leonics have supplied more than 35 MW  over various installations, the single biggest being a 8 MW Grid connected system in Thailand operating satisfactorily with plant availability more than 99.5% since 2011.  Leonics also provides comprehensive remote PV power plant O&M monitoring for operator and investor interests.

      With local manufacturing capability in Malaysia, complete units spare parts and service are available for prompt and effective back up, currently for Models GTP507 (125 KWac) and GTP 512 (250 KWac).  This service can be dispatch locally and from Bangkok which is 2 hours away.
