Innovative, dedicated and highly motivated Malaysians are invited to apply for this vacant position.<\/p>\n<p><strong>TEMPORARY OFFICER, <\/strong><strong>LEGAL UNIT<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Contract Duration: 6 months<br \/>\n<\/strong><strong>Salary: RM2,500.00\/month<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>JOB REQUIREMENT<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Possess a Bachelor of Law LL.B (Hons), recognized by the Government or higher education institutions;<\/li>\n<li>Preferably with working experience in a similar environment, preferably in-house legal work;<\/li>\n<li>Familiar with contract law, company law, corporate law and land law, with knowledge of energy law in Malaysia as an added advantage;<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of energy policy, electricity supply industry and sustainable energy policy in Malaysia would be added advantage;<\/li>\n<li>Familiar with the government regulatory frameworks;<\/li>\n<li>Able to assist in drafting and reviewing legal documents, providing legal opinions, identifying legal issues and proposing practical legal solutions;<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with drafting and reviewing principal, subsidiary and amending legislations would be an added advantage; and<\/li>\n<li>Able to conduct legal research and studies on legal matters.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Potential candidates must possess the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Presentable and confident.<\/li>\n<li>Good analytical and problem-solving skills.<\/li>\n<li>Good interpersonal and communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to multi-tasks and prioritize daily works.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work under pressure and work with people from all levels.<\/li>\n<li>Proactive and able to work independently and as a team.<\/li>\n<li>Meticulous in work with strong attention to details.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent in both spoken and written Malay and English.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>HOW TO APPLY<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Please visit <a href=\"http:\/\/www.seda.gov.my\">www.seda.gov.my<\/a> for further details of the vacancy.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Application can be made by e-mailing your resume with your photo, expected salary, academic certificates and other personal details to<a href=\"mailto:hr@seda.gov.my\"> hr@seda.gov.my<\/a>.
