The event takes place in the view of an increasing decentralised power system, innovative technologies, regulations and business models lead to higher share of renewables in power systems.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">IRENA\u2019s\u00a0presentation will focus on the role of increased demand side flexibility and innovative solutions that the\u00a0decentralisation\u00a0brings\u00a0for the\u00a0integration\u00a0of\u00a0high shares of renewable\u00a0energy resources in the\u00a0power\u00a0system. SEDA will share the experiences and lessons learnt from Malaysia\u2019s 1st pilot run of peer-to-peer (p2p) energy trading, built on Power Ledger platform.
