Balloting Process on Solar Photovoltaic (PV) Application for Non-Individual (up to 425 kW)
 

Allocation of quota for feed-in approval (FiA) applications for solar PV for the Non-Individuals (up to 425kW) will be carried out via balloting process. The details for the balloting event are as follows, applicants and their solar PV service providers are invited to witness the balloting process:

            Date        :             18th June 2014

            Time       :              10.00 am – 5.00 pm

            Venue   :               Mesmera Ballroom 1, The Everly Hotel, Putrajaya

Below are the important dates for the balloting process:

Closing Date of Draft Submission All applicants are required to complete (100%) the application draft to qualify them to participate in the balloting process.
17/6/2014 Confirm RSVP to SEDA, the Authority will email out invitation to all applicants with 100% draft application ONLY Applicants to confirm their RSVP attendance to SEDA
18/6/2014 BALLOTING EXERCISE

Maximum 2 pax per company

(i.e. applicant, PV service provider).

19/6/2014  Submission of application at SEDA’s office at Putrajaya Successful applicants on 18th to come to SEDA’s office in Putrajaya to submit their application via the e-FiT online system. All applicants will be required to use SEDA computers to do the submission.

All applicants are invited to submit their own ballot slip into the ballot box at the hotel venue. Service Providers are also invited to come and to submit the ballot on behalf of their clients. However, if any of the applicants or PV service providers are unable to attend the event, ballot slip submission will be carried out by SEDA and witnessed by auditors and independent observers.

The submission of ballot slips will start from 10.00 am to 12.00 noon and the balloting process will begin at 2.30 pm.

Dropping of ballot slips

Applicants or Service Providers get the ballot slip from counter and drop the slip into the ballot box.

12.00pm – 1.00pm

Transfer of the remaining ballot slips

Transfer of the remaining unclaimed ballot slips from the slips board into the ballot box by SEDA witnessed by auditors and independent observers.

2.00pm Registration of Guests and Media
2.30pm

Opening Speech
