Listing of Solar Photovoltaic (PV) Applications for Non-Individuals (up to 425 kW) for balloting on 9 March 2015

SEDA Malaysia is pleased to inform that a total of 548 qualified Solar Photovoltaic (PV) Applications for Non-Individuals (up to 425 kW) were received for the balloting exercise. Out of this total, 182 applications were for installed capacity up to 72 kW, another 136 applications for installed capacity up to 180 kW and a balance of 230 applications were for installed capacity up to 425 kW. The list of qualified applications are as shown below :-

Category A : Solar Photovoltaic (PV) Application (up to and including 72 kW)

Category B : Solar Photovoltaic (PV) Application (above 72 kW, up to and including 180 kW)

Category C : Solar Photovoltaic (PV) Application (above 180 kW, up to and including 425 kW)


The balloting process will take place as scheduled according to the three categories. However, based on a directive by the Ministry of Energy, Green Technology and Water (KeTTHA) today, a special category for Sabah will be introduced whereby a total of 4 MW will be specifically allocated for this. A total of 69 qualified applications were received from Sabah for this year’s balloting process.
