The key role of SEDA Malaysia is to administer and manage the implementation of the feed-in tariff mechanism which is mandated under the Renewable Energy Act 2011.

DIRECTOR, STRATEGIC COMMUNICATIONS DIVISION
JOB REQUIREMENT
Technical requirements for the post are as follows:
- Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communications, Journalism, Corporate Communication, Social Science or related field, recognized by the Government or higher education institutions;
- Minimum 15 years’ relevant experience in strategic communications, media relations or public relations, including 5 years of senior leadership roles;
- Demonstrated strategic leadership, project management and decision-making capabilities;
- Proven experience in developing and implementing organisational communication strategies;
- Ability to lead and mentor communication teams to achieve organisational objectives;
- Strong engagement with key media, industry, institutional and government stakeholders;
- Ability to lead strategic messaging, ensuring consistency and effectiveness across all channels, including digital and social media;
- Ability to analyse complex organisational or policy issues and translate them into clear, effective and strategic communications;
- Experience managing high-impact communication campaigns, media issues and reputational risks;
- Ability to work collaboratively with senior management, ministries, agencies and stakeholders; and
- Willing to travel as required.
