The key role of SEDA Malaysia is to administer and manage the implementation of the feed-in tariff mechanism which is mandated under the Renewable Energy Act 2011.

SENIOR ASSISTANT DIRECTOR/ ASSISTANT DIRECTOR, STRATEGIC COMMUNICATIONS DIVISION
REQUIREMENT
- Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or related field;
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in Corporate Communications, Content Writing, Public Relations, or social media – preferably within a government agency, GLC, or highly regulated sector;
- Strong writing and editing skills in both Bahasa Malaysia and English. Experience in technical or policy-based content writing (i.e.: renewable energy, sustainability, engineering) is an advantage;
- Proven experience managing corporate social media accounts. Skilled in scheduling tools (i.e.: Meta Business Suite), performance analytics (i.e.: Google Analytics), and digital content strategy.
- Ability to ideate and produce creative visuals or videos. Experience using Canva, basic video editing software, or similar tools is a plus;
- Mature, adaptable, and a collaborative team player with a positive attitude. Able to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and support the fast-paced needs of senior management; and
- Knowledge of renewable energy, experience in crisis communications, or experience liaising with ministries or media would be an added advantage.
