Putrajaya, 30th May 2019: SEDA will be releasing the quota for Biogas (30MW) through the second e-bidding process on 15th July – 29th July 2019.
The aim of the e-bidding system is to create a competitive landscape in Malaysia for better pricing efficiency for electricity generated from biogas resources. Each application is capped at 10MW per location. The biogas quota is for projects that will achieve commercial operations by H2, 2022.
